My Words of Sympathy II

My sympathy and prayer goes to people of Libya - the civilians. When problem is solved with missiles, the victims are always the civilians no matter what promises have been made. History has proved it. What else can I say except may Allah protect the innocent Libyans.

My Words of Sympathy

I always dream to go to this land but never had a chance to go. For now I think maybe it will take many years to dream it again..

I'm truly sad and sympathy to look at the people in Japan, their safety and their well being after being hit by the worst earthquakes and followed by tsunami. The assessed damages are definitely beyond words. They also definitely went through a very unspeakable pain missing, losing the love ones and properties. However, I respect the people of Japan who truly have strong heart and courage after one another catastrophics hit them. My heart goes to them.

A Ph.D. student, a post-doc, and their professor

A Ph.D. student, a post-doc, and their professor are walking through a city park and they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out in a puff of smoke.

The Genie says, "I usually only grant three wishes, so I'll give each of you just one."

"Me first! Me first!" says the Ph.D. student.

"I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat with a gorgeous woman."

Poof! He's gone.

"Me next! Me next!" says the post-doc. "I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach with a professional hula dancer on one side and a Mai Tai on the other."

Poof! He's gone.

"You're next," the Genie says to the professor.

The professor says, "I want those guys back in the lab after lunch."

Moral of the story : always let your supervisor talk first
