HIJRAH

I just started my life as a student. My first day of registration was not really good. My sister's car broke down and as a result I didn't finish my registration. Then, I missed my first class and I lost in Bandar Kajang. It has been years I didn't ride in the bus. I really don't know about the system of this transportation anymore. Luckily I am in Malaysia, just read the sign or ask other people, Insyallah you will arrive home. I didn't bring my car yet and still searching for a new home in Bangi.

Sometimes it's not easy to begin all over again when you're already so comfortable in your old routine. But things change for a reason and we have to go with the flow. Changing from a lecturer to become a student and moving from a small town where life is so simple to a big city is not easy as ABC. This is a really HIJRAH for me.

There is an old saying I said "The one constant thing in life is change".So, we must be prepared for any sudden changes in our lives. Although it may seem like an uphill task trying to face the changes in our lives, we must remember that sometimes a little bit of change is good for the soul! Sometimes we are so afraid to rock the boat that they appear to be trapped in their own little world that is safe..or so it seems. Make a hijrah in our own way so that we can become a better person with a higher iman.

SALAM MAAL HIJRAH!

Assalamua'laikum, Dear Azuriy,

You seem "menghayati" the "roh" of HIJRAH. If you attach together a good "niat" with your HIJRAH task, I believe every difficulties that you are experiencing, should have some hidden "barokah". Only and only you who can expose or identify them. If you keep being patient and keep "mengadu" to Allah, trust me, the difficulties are only temporary. By not knowing from where and how, someone (who you may know or not) would help you out or always give assistance. Why?! it is simple, you are "berHijrah" for "menuntut ilmu". You are incresing the number of muslim "Dr" in economy. That's why Allah open up the heart of the person to assist you. Does it make sense? Wallahua'lam.

Everytime, when you have difficulties, you could also "amal" the recitation of suroh "Al-Insyirah". Allah mentioned twice..."Believe it, after every difficulties, there will be easiness".

Tip for sharing; when we plan to make a "HIJRAH", we ourself should also be ready for mind shift. Forget our previous comfort zones.

Lets strive for becoming better person with a higher iman. Insyaallah! Ie-lalliqa' wassalamah

Assalamua'laikum Azuriy, (just to add a little bit more);

For your case, where you are moving to KL from Dungun, in my opinion... you MUST and nothing else but MUST ask assistance from your siblings (especially the male family members)or close relatives. (I assume that you could not get your friends help since they are far from you). This is because you are a woman. Not saying that woman is weak, but this is "fitrah" of Allah creation. You can be independent from them only when you have get used with the new living environment and when it found "safe" for you to do so. It is also thought better for you to have 1 or 2 of your student friends to stay together.

Wallahua'klam, it is just opinion. I believe you might have better ideas. Wishing you a continuous "barokah" for your HIJRAH throughout the year. Ie-lal-li-qo' was-sa-la-mah.
