I'm going to sit for my last prelim exam less than a week. Dr S was so kind asking me whether I want to reschedule the exam date until a week after raya. They won't have much problems to rescheduled since I'm the only person who will sit for that paper. I was really in dilemma and didn't answer Dr S question until he said if I want to change the date I can meet Mr A to do so.
Well, I'm far from 100% ready for this paper and need more time to study but If I change the date after raya, will it make much difference?. Knowing myself, i won't study much if go back to kampung especially it is hari raya. If only Dr S said it can be rescheduled three weeks after raya I'll definitely nodded without any hesitation.

Dear Azuriy, Assalamua'laikum,
1. Why don't you first suggest Dr.S to reschedule three weeks after raya (just try your luck Sis). If cannot for three ask for two weeks after raya (still better than one week right?!)
2. You can also limit your raya holiday, where, by Friday is the limit maybe ha..ha..ha. (depends, if the rescheduling is for one week after raya)- Whatever it is, just enjoy your holiday without thinking much about the exam as not to spoil the happiness of family gathering.
3. To get back the momentum of your study after raya, it is strongly suggested for you to 'puasa sunat 6' during the exam. InsyaAllah it helps.
The above are only suggestion Sis. You know your self better. When you mentioned that you are still far from 100%, then it looks postponing/reschedule is still a better choice coz all of the sudden you are given a chance to have better preparation. Wallahua'lam, and it is good you just solat istikharah before you make any decision as to get the blessing (You won't and should not feel your decision is wrong after that).

For you to get a good result you need to sacrifice a bit. You still can have a good holiday for 'raya sakan' and also additional days for you to read more.
