Dear Azuriy, Assalamua'laikum,
Keep reciting that doa until 10th of Muharram (Asyura Day). Even it is a simple doa but it covers all the important things in our life. With the barokah of the Asyura Day, the doa will insyaallah be accepted (maqbul).
May be you can also add in the doa;
"kurniakanlah kpd ku keikhlasan ketika beribadah dan ketika melakukan amal kebaikan"
