Got this from a friend, how to stay happy..
1. Live each day without anything negative to say or letting naysayers get in the way.
2. Welcome friends and family into your home especially if knowing they’ve been alone.
3. Experience different places and cultures. Find your own undiscovered treasures.
4. Listen, laugh, love, and live! Those are always some of the best things to give.
5. Forgive all hurt, pain, remorse, and shame. Carrying that stuff around provides no gain.
6. Enjoy meaningful relationships and social endeavors. Good memories last forever.
7. Start building the life you want to have in the future and each day you’ll get closer.
8. Respond to most things with a smile. That may confuse most people for a while.
9. Protect, promote, project, and provide all the love you have inside.
10. Appreciate just how far you’ve come and simply refuse to come undone.
11. Love and trust shouldn’t cost much. However, it is best when expressed freely.
12. Make your life a happy home! All that’s needed is a mind of your own.

Would also like to share the "kisah teladan" below;
Suatu ketika dahulu ada seorang menteri di Parsi yg bijak yg dibenci raja memerintah. Beliau di tangkap dan disiksa didlam penjara yg sempit lagi gelap. Setelah lama ditahan, raja mengutuskan wakil utk mengetahui keadaan si menteri. Siwakil terkejut melihat keadaan simenteri tetap sihat walaupun telah lama diseksa.
Wakil bertanya; "Ternyata badan tuan tetap segar, sihat dan tidak berubah sama sekali, apakah yg menbuat tuan demikian?"
Simenteri menjwb;"Aku membuat semacam ramuan makanan dari 6 jenis campuran. Setiap hari aku makan sedikit demi sedikit. Itulah sebabnya aku tetap segar dan sihat"
"mohon dijelaskan wahai tuan" tanya lagi siwakil. Jawabnya, " campuran pertama, percaya sepenuh hati kpd Allah. Yg kedua, aku tahu setiap apa yg ditakdirkannya pasti terjadi. Yg ketiga, hanya kesabaran ialah yg terbaik utk dilakukan bg menghadapi dugaan. Yg keempat, bagaimana aku boleh tak sabar padahal aku tidak berkuasa menentu dan menolong diriku sendiri dr kegelisahan. Yg kelima, barangkali jika diriku tidak didalam penjara ini berkemungkinan akan mengalami bencana/malapetaka yg lebih buruk diluar sana. Yg keenam, aku berkeyakinan setelah malapetaka ini akan datang kepada ku kemudahan.
